Future Heroes Poll: Part 2! Plus Factory Samples!

Adventure Time fans,
We have samples straight from the factory! But before we share some photos, we have a poll for you! We asked months ago what Heroes you want in the next Card Wars releases. We shared a poll with a list of characters who had never had Hero cards and MANY of you responded. As we worked on new Card Wars stuff and talked to fans, we were reminded that many of the Heroes originally released in the Hero Pack never had decks and that the exclusive Hero cards from this Kickstarter only had 9 cards each. We realized some fans might want new cards created for these characters.
At THIS LINK, please find a second Future Heroes Poll that lets you choose from Heroes that did well in our first poll AND any existing Card Wars Heroes that do not have 40-card decks. Choose up to 5 characters you think should have new Hero cards and decks and help shape the next Card Wars products!
Factory Samples
Now let’s share some photos! Check out photos of the Ultimate Collection, Doubles Tournament, Collector’s Storage Box, Playmat, and tuck boxes! Everything looked AMAZING in person. We are still waiting on a sample for the RPG Module. And we are on track for September fulfillment!
Cards are unsleeved. If you sleeve your cards or use the tuck boxes, this box will be very full.
Tuck boxes, Booster Collection box, and mugs do not come inside the Storage Box, but this is what they look like if you place them inside.
We hope you enjoyed this preview! Next steps: We just conveyed a few very minor comments to the factory. After that, the factory starts manufacturing!

Eprints Approved! FINAL 48 HOURS: Adventure Time: The Roleplaying Game on Kickstarter!

Adventure Time fans,
We continue to make forward progress on getting everything from the Adventure Time Card Wars 10th Anniversary Kickstarter finished, so we can get it all to you in just a few months. We have now approved all eproofs from the factory. The way it works: After we deliver our final files to the factory, the factory provides PDFs to show us everything they are printing and how they have it set up. We double check everything to make sure every component is accounted for and in the correct quantities. In particular, for cards, they send us PDFs of how the cards will be printed. As an example, here’s one:
What’s next? Physical proofs! We expect those in just a few weeks and we’ll be sharing LOTS of photos with you.

Off to Print We Go!

Adventure Time fans,
Some good news to start the week: We have gone to print! We finished a bit later than expected, because of all the extra time we took editing and making sure everything was as good as it could be. But we think it was worth it. We also think we’ll still be able to hit our estimated September fulfillment.
Next steps: We will be getting digital proofs from the factory in the weeks to come. Then we’ll get physical proofs that we will share (via photos) with all of you!
In a bit of news: For the Ultimate Collection, we ended up doing a regular rulebook AND a Deck Breakdown & Card Clarification Booklet. It seemed like a nice way to split things and we think the additional booklet will be a handy reference so you can check all the cards that go in each deck and get additional explanations of some cards. Here’s a peek at the cover!

Finishing Touches

Adventure Time fans,
Since our last update, the pledge manager deadline has passed. However, some of you still have not completed your surveys or have credit cards that have failed, so please make sure everything is good to go before we finalize our manufacturing quantities very soon. (BackerKit instructions are in the below section for those who still need them.)
In terms of everything going to print, we are close! We are spending extra time because of YOU. The support for the campaign was overwhelming and totally amazing. So we want to make everything is as good as possible and you’re happy with the final product.
With more than 800 cards created over a decade, it took our team a long time to go through it all and make sure everything lined up very well across all the cards. That meant adjusting wording, formatting, capitalization, and adding all the extras from the campaign (hero icons, new NiceLands frames). But all cards are now final! Let’s show just a couple of the updated cards.
What’s still being finalized: The rulebooks and the RPG module. We are about two weeks away from having everything to the factory. We are still on schedule for fulfillment in August, but we’ll let you know if anything changes.
